"THE TRAIN TO KURANDA" ON AMAZON EBOOKS AND PAPERBACKS WORLDWIDE. A young, physically and mentally torn-up Australian soldier (now called PTSD) who survived the WWII Bataan Death March, rides the train to find his missing wife. On the train, he meets a precocious little girl. In Kuranda he encounters tragedy, then hope. Then, in the Gold Fields of SW Australia he finds redemption, healing and wealth, befriended by positively portrayed Aborigines he had rescued. Riding on the train almost mystically changes the lives of three characters in the story. ( "Hemingway would have loved this little train winding through the primordial rain forest with waterfalls and canyons! " It and the reverence Australians have for their military just exploded the story in the author's mind. I HAD to write it for art, not money! Four-star rating so far.
